Now that it looks like the dust has mostly settled in the whole NERO International thing, I think it's ok to put this out there.

YouTube Friday: 7-Eleven
I don't have cable (we use Netflix), so I tend to miss gems like this one. As the uploader states in the comments, this is a pretty good sign that at least knowledge of gamer culture is becoming more mainstream.
We may not like how LARPers are portrayed in the video, but at least we're getting closer to the date where we can tell people we're LARPers without having to explain what LARP is.

Today's video is a humorous one about being a nerd, and not so much about being a LARPer. I stumbled upon it searching for LARP videos, but someone used the word LARP in the comments instead of it being part of the video.

YouTube Friday: Roll a D6
Sorry for the late addition of this post, but apparently Blogger space-jacked itself on some update. That's also why the previous post is not back up yet. They claim it should be coming back. I certainly hope so.

Keyword Fun
I get to see the keywords people use to get to the site. It's part of Google's plan to rule the word and have all the information. That, or it let's me know if I'm getting to the site with keywords I want them to use.
Sometimes, the keyword searches are very specific and... odd. I thought I'd take the time to address some of the specific searches that people made.

Really? I heard that about you. In fact, here's a picture of bladezz holding some blades, so you can look at blades while you're looking at bladezz.

You can make anything you want. But I wouldn't suggest that.

YouTube Thursday: Prehistoric Dog
I found this little gem online a while back. The metal band Red Fang did a music video for their song "Prehistoric Dog" where they start out making fun of LARPers. The band then builds their own armor and weapons out of beer cans to harass the players. However, it doesn't end how you might expect it.
The video is kind of graphic. This is a metal band, so they're not afraid to show excessive blood or band members throwing up from drinking too much. You've been warned.
